Two were delivered,one was fabulous and has stayed very fresh. Unfortunately the other,mainly purple roses, started to wilt and smell nasty after just aday or so.Beautiful, but disappointing.

It's a beautiful bouquet in a very attractive container. I'm happy to have it. Mainly the arrangement is a variety of colored tulips. But I admire that the florist added some other type of flower in a bud stage, or possibly a type of greenery, with which I'm not familiar. It's more interesting than all tulips.

First, the service and flowers were great. This was the first time ordering flowers in Oregon. I placed the order one week prior to my friend's birthday and asked that they be delivered before 12:00 noon (on her birthday). Two days before her birthday, I found out she was leaving at 11:00 AM that morning. I called (talked to Marti) who said there would be no problem getting the flowers delivered before 11:00 AM. The flowers were delivered and my friend said they were "beautiful". She said some florists include a packet of some type of preservative to prolong the cut flowers a little longer. She thinks that would be a nice extra touch to include with cut flower orders. Again, thanks Burkhardt's (and Marti)!!! I would recommend anyone considering sending flowers in the Hillsboro area use Burkhardt's. Jim - Oklahoma City

I was perturbed by your $4.95 "service charge." What's that for, the pleasure of doing business with you? Would you charge it if I was an in-store customer? You'd already charged me a $10 delivery charge [although your website said it was $9]. Even though I ordered from you last year for my daughter-in-law, I am put from ordering again because of that "service charge."

The flowers that arrived were very beautiful and arrived within two hours of placing the order, this was great!! The only down side, was the arrangement that arrived was COMPELTELY different from the picture online and appeared MUCH smaller. This was disappointing. The recipient did love them, and I guess that's what ultimately matters.

The flowers I had picked out weren't available so the florist contacted me and informed me she wasn't able to make the exact boquet, but something very close and even more beautiful. When I saw the arrangement at my mother in laws my jaw hit the floor. Burkhardts really went out of there way to make a phenominal boquet. They even delivered them that evening at 7:00, which was wonderful. My mother in law had just lost her mother, and she said the huge bundle of white lillies coming towards the house in the dark looked like a star, and made her smile. Thank you so much for your wonderful service. I will be using you from here out every time I need to buy flowers. You area a wonderful company.

My husband was sent a candy basket for his 30th birthday and it was wonderful and full of all types of delicious treats and I would highly recommend this!!! Also I rated my arrangement of flowers at a 3 from my 30th birthday and I would like to change that to a 5+++ So my roses were discolored and looked like they were dying and in response the (I am assuming) owner called me and apologized. She said she would replace the roses as they are guaranteed, I said not to worry about it but she was adamant and I was delivered a beautiful arrangement of 7 roses today. It was the gesture of calling alone that made me want to change my rating, but to actually bring me replacement roses goes above and beyond, customer service is amazing here and I would use this florist and highly recommend them to anyone. They have integrity, wonderful customer service in an age where most people do not and they have beautiful flowers :)

The arrangement was sent to me for my 30th birthday and while there was a variety of very pretty flowers, all 6 of the roses (light peach/pink) looked like they were dying and old....all outer layers of petals were browning. Roses are my favorite flower next to orchids so I was sad they were all depressing looking.

I have received flowers from this florist on several occassions and have always been happy with what I received. I was even impressed when my husband told me the story of going into this shop looking for a specific flowers for me. He didn't know what it was called -only generally what it looked like. Well,they must have someone there familar with "husband speak" because on Valentine's Day I received the most beautifl vase filled with that flower that I have ever seen. The delivery people are always friendly and the vases they use are good quality. I have reused some of them several times. Plus my flowers last far longer tha n I would expect. KUDOS to this shop! I can't wait for my next arrangement to arrive.!!!!

I choose this florist for my wedding flowers not because of location but because of sincerity. My wedding was way out in Milwaukee but they were more than willing to drive all the way out there to deliver the flowers on my special day. During the planning you meet with the floral designer more than once to go over your visions and ideas. She gives you imput and helps you figure out what goes well together, what smells nice (or too strong) color combinations you would never think about and if you change your mind after you place the order its okay. You are allowed to make major changes up to two weeks before your wedding and smaller changes up to 2 days before the event. Everyone was friendly and helpful--I will recommend this florist to all my friends and coworkers

no one, besides our photographer, comes more highly recommended than our florist. Marti, the owner, took care of us in so many ways. We didn't want a ton of flowers, and she worked with (a very difficult) me to find bouquets/boutonnieres that I would like. She also put together two beautiful arrangements for the church stage. NOT ONLY THAT but she and her staff went to the reception ballroom and put together all of the centerpieces (which were not flowers) on the recption tables. this included setting up a stack of three boxes, candy dihes and favors. she also tracked down tiffany blue paper for said centerpieces.

2/14/09 I should start by saying I dealt with Marti, the owner of Burkhardt's, an d I loved her. I felt very at ease with her from the beginning and appreciated that she seemed to listen to me and not take it poorly when I asked for changes to be made. I had the initial consultation where we talked about the overall look and feel of the event, and the colors, and I picked out many ideas that I liked from magazines. Once I had my dress and more things finalized we met again and did something similar though this time she pulled flowersto give me a better idea of what I would be getting. At the end of the day I loved the flowers and thought my bouquet was gorgeous and absolutely exactly what I was looking for. We ordered a lot of flowers from Marti (rehersal dinner, church & reception) and I think we got a lot more for the price from her than we could have from many vendors. I found her easy to work with and would use her again for anevent in a heartbeat!
